Sometimes you might be caught in a prank set by your friends, where you are denied to pass through lock screen or you might have forgot your lock screen pattern and wanted to reset it. In order to prevent yourself from such situation, an XDA member mb-14 has developed an app called ‘SMS Bypass” that allows you to remotely Bypass your lockscreen via SMS. All you need to do is, just send an SMS containing a preset code followed by ‘reset’ to your phone from any other device. Once done, your device will be restarted and the lock screen will be reset. Sometimes you might be still shown a pattern unlock screen, but don’t panic, as it is just a bug. In such situation, you will have to just draw any random pattern to bypass the lockscreen. Cool isn’t?
SMS Bypass doesn’t require root access to your device and it is compatible with any device that runs on Android 2.2 or newer.
