After the launch of Facebook timeline, we have seen many tools to beautify your profile timeline : Like how to turn your timeline into a timeline movie. Here’s a new application called “PinView” that transforms your Facebook timeline design into Pinterest. This app displays your News feed, friends list and other pages as panels, just like what you see in Pinterest social bookmarking site. The app was launched on Thursday with a caption “Browse Facebook like you browse Pinterest”. After installing the app, the Pinview displays your news feed in grid format. It has buttons displayed on the top right which allows you to navigate other stuffs on your profile.

According to the release notes, the application developers plans to implement many features to make it more usable. “We are also planning to allow you to sort them based on popularity and other non-realtime properties,” co-developer Thomas Petersen told in an interview to Mashable.com. The functionality of the app is similar to Friendsheet application.
