Facebook will soon charge users for promoting their status updates

Updated on September 1, 2017

There is a famous saying goes like this “The words that are told, cannot be taken back”. But that famous line doesn’t stay true for the quote from Mark. Once Mark Zuckerberg said that Facebook will always be free, but those days have gone. Facebook will soon charge users for promoting their status updates.  According to the reports, Facebook has conducted a test of charging users to promote their status updates.  The test was aimed at users this week was the same as that aimed at advertisers couple of years ago.  The reason seems to be simple, Facebook is finding a way to make some money out of its strong user base and you know that Facebook is just about a few months short of reaching 1 billion users. Here’s what Facebook had to say about the test, “Not too many people see your very important Facebook updates. So pay us and we’ll make sure they do. Or at least we’ll try.”
