I would love to see more features in default Stock Messaging app in iOS. But unfortunately, Apple didn’t make much changes to its Stock Messaging app from iOS 1.0. But the good news is that you can fix all those pitfalls in Stock messaging app using the Cydia app called BiteSMS jaibreak tweak. Currently the app has come up with various bug fixes – including fix for the Emoji character encoding bug.
BiteSMS version 6.3 comes with new themes, a new “Mark as Read” icon in the banner notification, a feature to display contacts pictures in the Lock screen notification lists and an improvement over the Quick Reply feature. You can tweak these features using the easy to use BiteSMS settings panel.
BiteSMS runs on jail broken iOS devices like iPhone, iPod. All you need to do is, just search for biteSMS in Cydia app and click install. BiteSMS is available for free download in BigBoss repo of Cydia, but the free version is an advertisement supported. If you want an ad free app, then it costs $9.99.
