It’s quite normal to hit the snooze button soon after you hear the alarm clock in the morning. I am sure, you will snooze the clock at least couple of times before you stretch out in search of your mobile to see the time and read the messages that you received over the night. But have you ever wished someone to read out the messages, time and the current temperature as soon you hit the snooze or dismiss the alarm clock in the morning? Here’s an app that reads out various messages after you snooze an alarm clock.
Wake Info is a new jailbreak application that can read out date, time, temperature and other messages to please you in the morning…say something like “Wake up my sweet heart”. The app comes with a settings panel where you can configure your custom wake-up messages. The settings panel also features options to enable or disable Wake Info, show notification banners, display active alarm badge on the clock app.
Wake Info lets you to setup three messages to speak out in the morning after you dismiss or snooze alarm. The options include; messages, temperature status, battery status, calendar events, date and time and the number of unread texts, emails and missed calls. Well, the app can only read out the number of missed calls, unread texts & emails and not the sender’s information. The app makes use of existing text-to-speech function to readout the configured messages. Also you can configure to open a custom URL in safari along with the messages.
Wake Info can be downloaded for free from BigBoss repo of Cydia and it works well on iOS 5+ devices. Mostly importantly it works on non-Siri devices as well.
