Planetbeing, the name known for developing the most downloaded jailbreak utility called “EvasiOn” has recently announced an update for its app called “Signal”, now it is called as “Signal 2”. Signal 2 is a Cydia app that identifies the cell phone towers in your area and displays them on a map. The app will display information about the tower to which your device is connected to, towers that are located in nearby area and display them on a map.
Signal 2 can also display information about RSCP – the signal strength, Ec/No – signal quality and frequency at which each tower is broadcasting. I know these information are too technical, but it lets you to know what the cell phone coverage in nearby area.
