Developers claim to have Jailbroken Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8

Its been quite sometime, since I wrote my last post on Windows Phone Custom ROM installation. Today, I stumbled upon an interesting article about Windows Phone 8 Jailbreak. The developers (poandsou and Silen) claimed to have Jailbroken Nokia Lumia 920 running windows 8. According to the video footage, the device features three columns of tiles rather than the usual two; which actually reserved for 6-inch devices like Lumia 1520, that was enabled by modifying the system registry.

This jailbreak will allow users to install apps from third party app stores, registry editing, device customization and the ability to modify low-level operating system as well. Well, everything seems good, but we are yet to learn the jailbreak procedure. According to the developers, the jailbreak would be achieved by running a tool on your computer and also needs JTAG with hardware access.
