Updated on September 1, 2017

Most of the time we don’t watch the videos completely. Sometimes we need to pause them and come back to watch it from the spot where you left off. Here’s the Google Chrome extension called “Pause For Later”, that saves your spot in YouTube so you can close the window or tab and pick up where you left off later.

Here’s how it can be done,

1. Go to Chrome Web store and search “Pause for later” or click here.

2. Click “Add to Chrome” button to install the extension to your browser.

3. After the successful installation of the extension, you should see a pause button in the toolbar.

4.  While you are watching a YouTube video and need to pause it, you can click the pause button in the Chrome toolbar instead of hitting pause on the YouTube player itself.

5. Pausing the video will take to your list of paused videos on the Pause For Later Website. First time you’ll need to sign up for a free account.

6. Later you can visit the “Pause for Later website”, to resume your videos from the list. The website also provides options to share the videos.
