Well, there are lot and lot of screen sharing apps available on the web and everyone has atleast one or two of them! Now that some social media instant messaging services like Google Plus also have introduced this service, the pool has become bigger and its difficult for us to find the better fish.
Here we have a hassle-free absolutely cost free service called ScreenLeap. For using Screenleap, you need not even sign up for an account ,or download and install it. All you need to have is Java Runtime Environment(JRE) on your system, which most people should already have. But if you don’t have, you can readily install it, in no time. The first time you use Screenleap, you’ll have to grant the service permission to run Java on your browser and that’s it!
You can share the screen to as many people as you want by just sending them the URL link. And this URL active only when your screen sharing session is live.
As soon as your screen is made visible to others you share, a small window and a green rectangle pops up. This window allows you to share your entire screen, or the area within the green rectangle. You are also presented with a drop-down menu where you can choose your preference. Pause sharing and Stop sharing options are also available.
Although features like instant messaging, zooming or annotation tools are not available, ScreenLeap stands out as a clean communicating tool for just screen sharing and solves the purpose!
