We all know that Sony Xperia Z lets you to shoot underwater photography. But capacitive touch screens will always have tough time in registering taps or swipes when under water. One solution to this is by adding a physical camera button to your device. But how about using the Proximity Sensor of your device? Here’s an app called “Aqua Z Camera” developed by an XDA member AGGevorgyan, which allows you to shoot underwater photographs quite comfortably using the device’s Proximity sensor. The app will shoot a picture every time you tap the proximity sensor. Remember the touch screens will have problems while tapping when under the water, but the app allows you to tap the proximity sensor it self. Aqua Z Camera lets you to configure the duration you have your finger covering the proximity sensor.
Currently the app features facility to change the camera resolution, auto white-balance, flash, color effects, auto focus, front and back camera compatibility. The developer says, the app is in early alpha stages and might be unstable sometimes.
