Whenever you click a link in a mail or download an attachment, Android shows a dialog box asking you to choose an app that you wish to use it as default. In case, you choose a wrong app and tapped Always button, then you will be forced to open all of your images in a wrong app instead of gallery app or PDFs in a wrong viewer. Fortunately you can change the default apps quite easily.
To do that,
Step 1: Head on to Settings.
Step 2: Tap “Apps“. Note: This varies from device to device, different android versions. Sometimes it will be called as “App Manager” or “Application Manager”.
Step 3: Swipe over to ‘All‘ apps list.
Step 4: Search for the app that you wish to remove as default and tap on it.
Step 5: Under the title “LAUNCH BY DEFAULT”, tap “Clear defaults” button.
That’s it. Next time whenever you click on a link or any file type, android will popup a dialog asking you to choose a default app. Choose the app correctly and tap “Always” button.
