Perform Untethered Jailbreak on iOS 7 using evasi0n7 [ Mac guide ]

Evad3rs just unveiled a new Jailbreak utility for iOS 7 devices. If you are one among the crowd, who was waiting to Jailbreak your iDevice, here is how to do that with your Mac. Having windows? Here is our Windows guide!

Note : The jailbreak works only for iPhone, iPod Touch,iPad and iPad Mini devices that run iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4.  Do remember to backup data of your device using iCloud or iTunes.

Step 1: Head on to the Evasion page and download the package.

Step 2: Unzip the package and open evasion folder.  Double click evasi0n7 app to run it.

Step 3: Unlock your device (incase you have a passcode set) and go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock  and turn your Passcode Off.

Step 4: Connect the device to your computer.

Step 5: The evasion utility should detect the device automatically. Once the device is detected, the tool will enable “Jailbreak” button.

Step 6: Just click on Jailbreak button and wait for the app to complete the process.

Step 7:  Tap on evasion7 icon on your device’s Home screen, when asked to, to complete the process.

Note : The entire process takes around 5-10 minutes, and your device may reboot a few times. Incase you find, the process getting stopped at any point, restart the program or reboot the device rerun the whole process again. You may also want to know the list of tweaks that are compatible with iOS7.
