Here’s an Universal root guide for any Motorola Android device

Do you own an Android based Motorola device and willing to root it? Here’s a quick guide to root almost all android based Motorola devices. Created by rootdefyxt320, an XDA member compiled a quick guide that lets anyone to quickly root a few Motorola devices – especially the one that uses SBF firmware in CG2.smg format. According to the developer the method worked on various Motorola devices; which includes moto. The developer also said that, the method should work on any device that uses SBF firmware packaged in CG2.smg format.

The developer has explained two different root methods. It involves in download the necessary drivers, SBF file for your device, Motorola Android Depacker and an update for SuperSU. You should also have ADB and Fastboot setup. Once you have all these, checkout the guide here posted on XDA.
