SwiftKey 3, the Multi award winning (Webby Awards People’s Voice Winner for Innovation, 2012 and Mobile World Congress Award Winner for Innovation, 2012) keyboard app for Android devices is now available for download on Google Play and Amazon App store. The app claims to feature “Smart Space” prediction that detects mistyped or omitted spaces across strings of sloppily typed words in real-time. According to the technology news site Engadget, the mistyped word “Lleasexqllme” will be corrected as “Please call me”.
The app also comes with the new theme ‘Cobalt’ and ‘Holo’, which seems to go well with the Ice Cream sandwich style. SwiftKey 3 will have a bigger space bar and smart punctuation key that helps in improved accuracy and faster typing experience. The app comes with the support for seven additional languages like Korean, Estonian, Farsi, Icelandic, Latvian, Lithuanian and Serbian.
The keyboard has a dedicated key for comma, Android backup support that will allow you to preserve the databases of trained phrases. Swiftkey 3 will learn from your SMS, Tweets and email archives to know what words you use often.
The app is available at a price of $1.99 / £1.49. Check out the app here.
