How to install CyanogenMod
- If you have flashed Custom Rom’s earlier you would definitely know what the first step could be? Backup Data!
- Visit CyanogenMod’s website and find the firmware for N1 at the bottom of the page.
- Connect Oppo N1 to your computer and copy the downloaded firmware file (.zip) to root folder.
- Disconnect the device and power-off the phone
- Power-up in recovery mode (by pressing power-up+volume down buttons)
Note : Keep the buttons pressed throughout the boot process.
- In the next screen, you will get the language selection screen, choose your language and proceed to recovery.
- Select, Install from SD and choose the file you copied.
- Click on ‘Yes’ confirmation, ensuring you have backed up all data prior.
- The installation should start
- Once done, you will get a confirmation and you can choose to Reboot.
Now, on booting you will see that the process is changed and you will see a blue Android mascot icon. And, aftermath, you can enjoy all the cool new features!
