Motorola fans have a reason to cheer. The company has announced its update schedule for 10 of its devices to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. it was the first company to announce the Android 4.4 Update to its Moto X lineup. The Moto X and its developer version are to get the Android 4.4 Update treatment.
The 10 devices up the list are the
> Motorola Electrify M
> Atrix HD
> Droid Ultra
> Droid MAXX
> Droid Razr Maxx HD
> Droid Razr HD
> Droid Razr M
> Razr HD Developer edition
> Razr M Developer Edition
These devices on Verizon get the update first. Then it is expected to hit other carriers. The time period is not known and should be announced soon. People with old Motorola phones can go to a Motorola service center and replace your old phone with a new phone at just $100. But if you don’t want to pay that extra 100, you can as well go to the XDA site and install CM11 rom and enjoy the AOSP experience. The AOSP experience is similar to the official one and make sure you don’t install any nightly builds and go for the stable builds to enjoy bug free builds.
