You can enable the Character count in your iPhone, which is a feature available in the message settings. Here’s how you can enable the Character count in iPhone,
1. Open the “Settings” app
2. Scroll down and select the “Messages”
3. Under the heading “SMS/MMS”, slide the “Character Count” On.
