TuneUp IncrediLock lets you add widgets and Sticky notes to Windows 8 Lock screen

Till now the Windows 8 lock screen displayed only current date and time and Wi-Fi signal strength, but do you know it can showcases more than that? Well! A free application called “IncrediLock” can put a widget or a sticky note on your Lock screen. You can even customize the background and let certain apps to display notifications on it. TuneUp IncrediLock can be downloaded for free from the Windows App store that can add only the Sticky note as of now, but soon expected to add widgets support on the lock screen.

The app also has collection of beautiful lock screen wallpapers, which you can choose and apply instantly. It comes with the user friendly interface, which displays the wallpapers on the main screen – classified into various categories like Animals, Technology, science, City scene and Globe.

Once you choose the wallpaper, just hit “Set as my new lockscreen” option located at the lower left corner. According to the app description on the app store, IncrediLock expected to support widgets like weather info and picture frames soon on your Lock screens.
