Decorate your iPhone Lockscreen by placing live widgets using LockHTML2

Here’s an application from Cydia that lets you to customize your iPhone lock screen by placing live widgets. If you are a big fan of placing live widgets on your mobile’s lock screen, then LockHTML2 will be a best bet. LockHTML2 is an extended version of LockHTML tweak with the later one comes with a support for iOS 6. And the other difference with the tweaks is, in LockHTML2 the wallpaper can be kept active in the widget’s background. Once the tweak is installed, you can enable it from the Settings menu and respring your device.

The default widget displays the weather condition of Rotterdam and if you wish to change the location, use iFile to place your city’s zip code at the below location,

/var/mobile/Library/LockHTML/THEMENAME/

LockHTML2 menu is divided into three parts, which lets you to change the placement and appearance of widgets, look of the unlock slider and the look of battery indicator on lock screen. You can choose to hide the widget while the device is being charged or hide the lock screen clock to give up some room for the widget. Another interesting option is that you can keep the lock screen background always enabled while charging.

The app comes with variety of themes, where the default one lets you to customize the unlock slider and knob by enabling or disabling the “Custom Knob” and “Custom Well” options. It also comes with an option to hide the camera grabber and widget label as well. Next we are going to speak about the battery customization, where you can hide the battery icon while charging the device or make it visible all the time or position to your desired place.
