Updated on September 1, 2017

Here is a finest example where advertisements go really bad! Someone has got very smart to create ad with high bidding for iTunes download, that appears as the first result if you search for “iTunes” in Google. If you click on this sponsored result, it takes you somewhere to tunes.download-new.com!

Ofcourse, this is not the legitimate iTunes software and will affect your computers behaviour, just like what happens when you install a software from an unknown source. You get a lot of goodies which replace your default browser, default search engine, introduce to you at-least to 5 new add-ons and many many disturbing pop-up ads!

Even the searches in Bing shows some looty links as in the case with Google, except that the legitimate download page had a marker stating “official site”.
