One million comments? Yes, a single Facebook post, which was written on the wall of a Facebook group called “Ffgpioneers/gwr/attempt” has received more than 1 Million comments (Look the below image). The actual post was made on 30th October 2011 around 17:30 has received around 1,001,610 comments (stats at the time i wrote this article). Shockingly the group has only 103 members, who played the major role to set this Guinness record. According to the post on Huffingtonpost.com,  it’s an attempt to set a Guinness World Record, where Cathy Matthews and about 100 other people — many are fans of the Facebook game “Frontierville” — posted a whacking 1,001,610 comments to a single Facebook post.

Analyzing this world record, reveals interesting fact that, with just more than 100 members in the group participating, each member had to comment on the post an average of about 9,724.36 times. This attempt has succesffuly beaten the previous record of a post which had  529,335 comments (Posted on June 29, 2011).
