Swiftkey for Android to add Emoji support. This new features even turns words into Emojis!

Updated on September 1, 2017

Swiftkey keyboards are very popular and widely known to android users. The Keyboard costs some few bucks but it is worth the money. It allows some very fast typing and some fast and sharp predictions. The next word that will come is also predicted.

The company behind Swiftkey was founded by Jon Reynolds and Ben Medlock in 2008. Its head office is in Southwark, London and other offices are present in countries like the US and South Korea. The Swiftkey Keyboard gets a new beta version which is also to bring some new features. It will add the very much awaited emoji support and a number row. Previously, only on Nexus devices running 4.1 Jelly Bean was this emoji keyboard available. Before you could only view the emojis and not enter them but now it is fixed.

The emoji comes in a variety of shades and will appear Black and white on devices running 4.1-4.3 Jelly Bean and will appear in color on 4.4 KitKat devices. What partiality! The one cool addition is the changing of words into emoji. Words such as sleepy, pizza, broken, cheers and kiss can be turned into emoji. But they may turn into emoji when you don’t intend it to which might be a disadvantage. Entering digits is also much easier and you just have to hold the appropriate letters and don’t have to go into special characters screen.

Download the app now and let me know what are the improvements and the glitches in the comments section below.
