Updated on September 1, 2017

As a content publisher, I really know the difficulty in protecting images from unauthorized publishers. Well, we are not speaking about Google, as they doesn’t show any mercy while display someone’s hard worked images directly on Google Images. But at least you can copy protect your images from other website publishers using watermarking feature. What if you have lots of images to be watermarked, then the process is quite tedious. If you are a windows user, then a free application called Bytescout Watermarking might be handy, as the program will allow you to watermark images in batch.

Bytescout Watermarking sports a very simple interface that has a list where you’ll find the added images. The application lets you add individual image files or folder containing lots of images (including the files in subfolder of a folder). You can also choose to remove or clear added images. Click on up and down buttons to move the files upwards or downwards and keep them organized in the queue. There you go, just choose the image on your computer via the application supported methods and click on any item to see a preview of the image on right side. Just hit Alt + P to view in a full screen. You can view the selected image’s resolution and size as well.

Click on the Next button to view available watermark types to choose from. The preset section allows you to configure necessary settings for that preset. Note: You’ll not be able to use all the features, as they are accessible only on Pro version of Bytescout. Here are some of the available presets: Simple text, file name, stamp, text annotation etc…Once you are set with the preset, click on Next button.
