How to avoid auto tagging on Facebook?

Facebook tagging is an interesting feature. It allows your friends to tag you on photos they upload. And if you have more friends who upload photos often, then the chances that you are being tagged is more. By default, Facebook allows to auto tag your friends. But sometimes, we don’t want to be auto tagged without prior permission. Here is the quick tip that helps you to disable auto tagging on Facebook.

How to disable auto tagging on Facebook photos?

1. Login to your Facebook account and click on the menu located on the top right corner. Then, click “privacy settings“.

 2. Click on “Edit settings” under How Tags Work.

3. Clicking the edit settings, will open a pop up dialog with the default tag settings.
