Parking Mania is a game released by Chillingo/Mobirate and was first available for Windows Phone. The game features some advanced graphics (good enough for top view play) and some great gameplay. The game then saw its release for Android and iOS but the game is not as classy and grand as its WP counterpart.
Gameplay
There are two versions- a Trial version and a Full version. The Trial version gives 20 levels for free and the full version gives 220 levels. You are expected to collect coins and park the car without damaging it. Damaging results in the decrease of a star. With 5 lives in the beginning and having all 5 lives at the end of a level will give you three stars plus a parking mania gold steering achievement. You get to park bikes, normal cars, sports cars, SUVs, Busses, Tractors, Trucks and Airplanes. Each vehicle has its own difficulty. You need some clearance space to turn some vehicles and other vehicles have handling problems. You cannot drive too fast as it will lead to damaging of the car. Don’t move too close to the edge of the screen as well. There are options of getting extra lives if you have the money. Each coin has the value of $500.
Controls
There are three different types of controls- Accelerator, Steering wheel and Pulling type in which the vehicle will go left if you pull left and go right if you push to the right. I personally prefer the steering wheel as the vehicle is easy to handle. The accelerator and the brake are present on the right hand of the screen and the Steering wheel by default to the left. It can be changed via the settings.
The game overall is very engaging and will keep you occupied if you feel lonely or are waiting for something.
